The general argument made by Seligman is that his goal was to make trouble people happy. More specially, Seligman argues that if they successfully remove depression, anger, and anxiety that will not make people happier. In this passage, Seligman is suggesting that there should be an equally thorough study of strengths and virtues; and that they should work towards developing interventions that can help people become lastingly happier. In conclusion, Seligman’s belief is that more studies should be done, and what studies can lead to happiness.

In my view, Seligman is right. I believe all these experiments he is doing is helping people a lot. Seligman is helping thousands of people in the world maybe millions. Its something to think about, and its also interesting. Who got time to do all these experiments and studies just feel happy again. These people must be really depress and sad inside. Therefore, I conclude that, Seligman is right and doing a good thing to create experiments for these people.
